The turn-based RPG Omori, which launched for PC back in 2020, is now available for consoles, and has joined Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass as a surprise day-one addition.
If you’ve been waiting to try out Omori on consoles, today’s your lucky day, as the game is now available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox Game Pass, and PC Game Pass. Check out the console launch trailer below:
Omori launches consoles and joins Xbox Game Pass
Omori currently sits on Steam with an ‘overwhelmingly positive’ rating from over 35,000 votes, so it seems Omori is definitely worth trying out if you’re even a little interested.
Not much is given away in the description: “Explore a strange world full of colorful friends and foes. Navigate through the vibrant and the mundane in order to uncover a forgotten past. When the time comes, the path you’ve chosen will determine your fate … and perhaps the fate of others as well. ” We are told that Omori explores depictions of depression, anxiety, and suicide, though, so it might be a heavy one to play.
Omori is now available for Xbox and Xbox Game Pass. If, on the other hand, you’re looking for a newer game to try – the ID @ Xbox Summer Game Fest Demo event seems to have started early, and we’re seeing a number of demos already playable, so there’s plenty there to check out! If you’re looking for even more demos, you can play these upcoming Xbox games today, thanks to Steam Next Fest.
