iPhone and wristlet stolen at Norridge festival – Chicago Tribune

The following items were taken from area police department reports and news releases. an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt.


An iPhone 12 and a wristlet were stolen July 9 from a patron at the Island of the City Festival in Norridge Park, 4631 N. Overhill Ave.

A 2004 Ford Explorer was stolen July 6 from the 4700 block of Olcott Avenue.

Nearly 30 packs of Pokemon Astral Radiance cards were stolen July 6 from GameStop, 4715 N. Harlem Ave. Estimated loss was $ 125.72.

A Moonrock D10THC, which is a type of cannabis, was stolen July 6 from Garfield’s, 4601 N. Harlem Ave. Estimated loss was $ 31.99.


Jason Galli, 45, of the 4100 block of North Elston Avenue, Chicago, on July 7 was charged with retail theft after attempting to take $ 271.47 worth of food and personal care products from Walgreens, 4101 N. Harlem Ave.

Burglary to motor vehicle

A Ruger EC9S 9-mm handgun and tools were reported stolen July 10 from a 2002 Dodge pickup truck parked in the 4900 block of North Opal Avenue.

Criminal damage

A home in the 4800 block of Chester Avenue was egged on July 6.

Bicycle thefts

· July 9 parked outside XSport Fitness Gym, 4260 N. Harlem Ave.

· July 8 two bikes parked outside of Target, 4101 N. Harlem Ave.,

· July 6 two bikes parked in front of Chipotle, 4234 N. Harlem Ave.


The bathroom key and pole were stolen from Shell, 5150 N. Cumberland Ave. on July 4 when a customer refused to have an employee scan her license so she could purchase a tobacco product.
