Capcom took to Twitter to discuss both the Street Fighter 6 character roster leak and the use of RE Engine in the game. For the former, the acknowledgment seemed to suggest the authenticity of the images that found their way online. As for the latter, it was an official announcement to help provide more insight into the game.
First, Capcom brought up the Street Fighter 6 roster leak on June 3, 2022. It thanked people for the support and reactions to the characters and their designs. It did not make any confirmation about its validity or when those designs were shown. It did acknowledge that this will be a Metro City game, though.
As residents of Metro City, we’ve all seen things we weren’t supposed to see, but we’re all in this together. We appreciate all the positive reactions. Thank you for the support!
