Marion Jones Admits Taking Steroids

According to was first reported in the Washington Post, former Olympic gold medalist, Marion Jones, has admitted to steroid use prior to the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. Now her five medals won at the 2000 Games may be in jeopardy. She allegedly got a substance called “the clear” or Tetrahydrogestrinone from her former coach Trevor Graham who told her it was flaxseed oil. “The clear” is a performance-enhancing drug linked to BALCO, the lab at the center of the steroids scandal in professional sports.
BALCO is the Bay Area Laboratory Co-Operative which is infamous for the scandal involving doping among baseball players.
