Naomi Campbell gets sentenced, Literally to clean up her act

Supermodel Naomi Campbell has been ordered to scrub floors in New York as punishment for throwing a mobile phone at her housekeeper.

The British beauty will have to don an unfashionable safety vest and gloves to complete her community service at the city’s Sanitation Department on March 19.

But her five-day service will not be subjected to the public glare as it will be contained indoors.

Singer Boy George attracted a media frenzy when he swept streets in a court-ordered punishment in August.

Campbell, 36, has been accused by at least three employees of hitting or otherwise assaulting them.

She has blamed her temper on lingering resentment toward her father for abandoning her as a child.
